Ladimax Women’s Wisdom:
Nicole Sanders
Hey ladies! One of the things we love about Ladimax is our awesome members; really, you’re much more like family! With everyone coming, going and exercising at different times, we wanted to provide an opportunity for you to get to know the person sweating it out next to you! So we’re starting a new feature called Ladimax Women’s Wisdom! It’s several easy questions you can answer that will tell us more about you. Leading the charge is our very own Ladimax founder, Nicole Sanders!
Wanna give it a try? Drop us a line here and we’ll get the questions right out to you.
*Are you happy at the moment? Why or why not?
*What would you tell your 16-year-old self?
* What is your favorite snack?
I don’t have a favorite snack. However, if I did, it would be something decadent like any of the desserts at the Cheesecake Factory. I try not to do anything half way. If I am going to snack, it’s gonna count. Might as well go all the well. That’s what gyms are for.
*What is your favorite go-to meal and why?
Easy. Any protein with collard greens and sweet potato. I beat my body up pretty badly in the gym and am usually starving when done. I could eat everything on a menu. I want to put back the protein I depleted in my muscles. I need that sweet potato to fill me up and take care of any cravings of wanting something sweet (or extra unhealthy calories because I am starving. Collards? Well, they just keep me lean and I can fill-up my plate with them to make me feel like I am eating a lot of food. Again, to combat the starving feelings after a hard workout.
*How do you relax at the end of the day?
In my perfect world (time being on my side): With a bubble bath and a glass of red wine. In my real world: hot shower, BRAVO TV for mindless activity before I crash.
*What do you want to accomplish in the coming year, fitness or otherwise?
Professionally: To own a gym that is recognized as a health and fitness resource for women; with a major focus on playing a progressive part in changing how women view weight loss and their body image.
Personally: Travel more. Combine my fitness career with my love for travel. Hey, that would be work though. I guess I really do love what I do, huh?
*What is your one over indulgence? How often?
I don’t really have an over indulgence per se, but I will devour whatever my body craves during my period. Once I eat it, I am fine…until next month. Hormones!
*What do you love most about Ladimax?
I love that women of all ages and backgrounds can come there and feel comfortable working out with each other. They feel like they can let their guards down for once in their day to work on themselves without being judged, interrupted or stared at.
